(SINL NIGERIA) The Zamfara State Zakat and Endowment Board has assured that it would start distribution of this year’s Ramadan and Sallah welfare packages to orphans and the less privileged in all the 19 emirates of the State on 23rd of this month.
Executive Secretary of the Board, Mallam Habib Muhammad Balarabe Zawuya announced this while briefing journalists at the headquarters of the Board in Gusau, the State capital.
“To ensure success of the exercise, the packages will be distributed in batches starting with the 1st batch comprising beneficiaries from Anka, Bukuyum, and Gummi Emirates. The distribution will take place in Anka on 23rd February, 2025”, he added.
“Batch 2 of the beneficiaries that are from Talata Mafara, Bakura and Maradun Emirates are to receive their packages in Talata Mafara on 24th February, 2025”
“The 3rd batch comprising beneficiaries from Shinkafi, Bazai, Zurmi, Birnin Magaji, Moriki and Kaura Namoda Emirates are to receive their packages on 25th February, 2025 in Kaura Namoda”
“On 26th February, 2025 beneficiaries from Gusau, Tsafe, Bungudu, Maru, Kotorkoshi and Yandoton Daji and Dansadau Emirates are to receive their packages in Gusau”
The Executive Secretary however called on the beneficiaries short listed for the gesture to pray for the success of Governor Dauda Lawal’s fight against banditry in the State.
