(SINL NIGERIA) The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Thursday took delivery of a brand new Compressed Natural Gas powered bus from the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PC-CNG).
The Programme Director, Engr. Michael Oluwagbemi, presented the vehicle to the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, at the FRSC National Headquarters in Abuja.
This is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for cleaner, safer, and more efficient transportation.
The handover signified a strategic step in the President’s agenda to modernise Nigeria’s transport sector, reduce carbon emissions, and promote sustainable mobility.
“With this CNG bus, FRSC strengthens its operational capacity while championing greener energy solutions and setting the pace for a safer, cleaner, and more eco friendly future on our roads”.
