The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on Friday hosted Eclipse Technologies for a detailed presentation on a new Pilgrim Registration Module aimed at enhancing efficiency and transparency in Hajj operations.
The session, held at the Commission’s boardroom was attended by the Commissioner of PRSILS Professor Abubakar Yagawal, Commissioner of Operations Prince Anofi Olanrewaju and the Secretary of the Commission Dr Mustapha Muhammad Ali.
Also in attendance were the Director of Administration/HR Alhaji Alidu Shutti, Director of Planning Malam Ibrahim Mahmood, Head of ICT, Head of Software Projects and other Staffs of the Commission.
Mr. Jide Abiose IT Expert and Gbolahan who led the Eclipse Technologies team delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Pilgrim Registration Module, a dual web and mobile based application designed to streamline the registration process for intending pilgrims.
The solution is built to improve data accuracy, enhance accessibility and promote transparency in the overall management of pilgrim information.
During the session, participants were taken through a practical demonstration of the module’s user friendly interface, core functionalities and its capacity for seamless integration with NAHCON’s existing digital infrastructure.
Discussions also centered on critical areas such as data security, scalability and future collaboration to ensure the system meets the Commission’s operational needs.
In their remarks, the Commission’s representatives commended Eclipse Technologies for the insightful and forward looking presentation.
They reaffirmed NAHCON’s commitment to adopting innovative technological solutions to improve Hajj management and enhance service delivery to Nigerian pilgrims.
The engagement marked another significant step in NAHCON’s ongoing digital transformation drive, geared toward ensuring a more efficient, transparent and technology driven Hajj process.
