The Chairman Senate Committee on Industry and Senator, representing Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, has felicitated Nigerian Muslims especially Osun East (Muslims) on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Senator Fadahunsi, in a statement personally signed on Friday, in Ilase-Ijesa, urged the Nigerian Muslims to continue praying for Osun state and the country, particularly the leaders.
The Ijesa-born lawmaker implored them to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice, which is one of the hallmarks of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
While extending the admonition to All Nigerians, Fadahunsi called for personal and collective sacrifices for the state and the country towards its development and growth.
He said a period like this calls for renewed commitment to the worship of Allah (SWT), noting that with unity of purpose, Nigerians can prosper.
