Ex-Governor Lamido’s son declares interest in Jigawa governorship contest

Mustapha Sule Lamido, the son of former governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido has declared interest to vie for the office of governor of the state next year.

He said Jigawa need serious and competent person that can bring back its past glory.


Mustapha Lamido stated this on Thursday in Dutse during his declaration to contest for the governorship election in 2023.

He explained that “I have made up my mind to run for governorship of the state considering the present circumstance that has led the citizens into poverty among others.


“It is up to the people to vote the All Progressive Congress (APC) out or return it to power in 2023. The situation in the state and in the whole country is critical” he said.


Lamido said he will unfold his blueprint when he become a candidate.
