The former Governor of Anambra state,  and the Presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Peter Obi has said insecurity in Nigeria is becoming unbearable.

Addressing PDP supporters at the party’s Secretariat in Dutse, he said despite the fact that loans had been collected severally by the present dispensation, poverty has cripple the entire country.

“The problem is that, Nigeria always borrow for consumption instead of investing the money for progress and developments, you hardly see what the loans are used for”, he said.

According to him this has led to further deterioration of security in Nigeria to the point that no where is save. “One cannot travel from Abuja to Kaduna by road, by rail or by air. Presently, the whole country is blocked”.

“Today in Nigeria, you cannot go this way, you cannot go that way, everywhere is blocked by either bandits, kidnappers, armed rubbers or gunmen. One can no longer listen to any good news in the country”, he lamented.

He added “I believe in United Nigeria, we must have to stay together in a United Nigeria so that we can develop ourselves easily in a collective responsibility and manner”.
