The Presidential candidate of the New Nigerian People Party (NNPP), Engineer Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has promised to introduce Community Participation and Reorientation Committees (CPRC) to tackle insecurity in all localities in Nigeria.

According to Kwankwaso, under this policy, funds would be made available to every political ward across the country for emergency that may require immediate solution if elected President in 2023.

“The committee members will include traditional and religious leaders, wealthy individuals, CBOs, members of political parties, head of schools as well as hospitals”, he said.

Kwankwaso who stated this while addressing reporters over the weekend in Dutse, Jigawa state capital, said he will increase the current number of the nation’s security personnel by 400 percent.

The presidential candidate who was in Dutse, for his campaign rally, said the number of  security personnel in the country is grossly inadequate to contain the presen situation.

“The number of the Nigeria police, the Military, Department of Security Service (DSS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and other uniform personnel cannot provide enough security for the country”, Kwankwaso stressed.

Also the state Governorship candidate of the NNPP, Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim Ringim said “we have developed a blueprint that will take care of social, economic, infrastructural plans that have direct bearings on the lives of our people”.
