(SINL NIGERIA) The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCO) has mourned the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The commission noted that the loss, coinciding with the passing of industrialist and philanthropist Alhaji Aminu Dantata, serves as a reminder of the importance of integrity, honesty, and visionary leadership.
NAHCON Chairman, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman in a statement on Monday reflected on the distinct qualities of both men.
He said “Former President Buhari’s commitment to personal honesty, integrity, and discipline earned him respect and loyalty, while Alhaji Aminu Dantata’s business acumen and philanthropy contributed significantly to Nigeria’s economic and social development.
“Their legacies offer valuable lessons for emerging leaders, the importance of upholding values that promote national unity, peace, and development.
“May Allah forgive their shortcomings, grant them Jannatul Firdaus, and strengthen their families and the nation during this period of loss”.
