The Zamfara State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, (NAWOJ) has commended the State Head of Service, Alh. Yakubu Sani Haidara, Commissioner Ministry of Information and Culture, Hon. Mahmud Muhammad Dantawasa and Managing Director, Zamfara State Media Corporation Alh. Bello Abdullahi Gusau for appointing the association’s chairperson, Comrade Jamila Musa Kanoma, as Controller of the Zamfara State Media Corporation.
This was contained in a statement issued by the association’s secretary, Comrade Fatima Ibrahim Dosara and made available to newsmen in Gusau, Zamfara State capital.
“We describe this appointment as well-deserved and a testament to Comrade Jamila Musa Kanoma’s dedication and expertise in her field. We congratulate her on this new role and urge her to justify the confidence reposed in her.
“The NAWOJ Zamfara State chapter enjoins Comrade Jamila Musa Kanoma to work closely with the management and staff of the Zamfara State Media Corporation to ensure the organization’s success”
