The Coalition of 19 Northern states Students have endorsed the Governor of Sokoto State, Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as presidential candidate in 2023 general election.
The unanimous decision was taken on Monday at a meeting held in Dutse, Jigawa state capital, where the best Governor award of the year was given to Waziri Tambuwal by the students’ body.
Speaking shortly after receiving the Award of the year, representative of the Governor, Commissioner of Youths and sports, Comrade Bashir Usman Korau said only Tambuwal can solve the enormous challenges bedevilling Nigeria presently.
He stressed “that only the person of medium of age like that of Aminu Waziri Tambuwal can lead Nigeria come 2023, because he is still young and energertic to confront the present insecurity in the country”.
According to him “anybody that is above 60 years cannot lead Nigeria again, because we had tried them and they have failed to restore Nigeria back to normalcy. The insecurity and disunity in the country is increasing daily”.
