Member representing Babura/Garki, federal constituency, Honourable Musa Adamu Fagengawo has dumped the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Jigawa state.

In a letter to the office of the APC at the ward level and the state government, Fagengawo hinged his resignation on series of conflicts allegedly happening in the APC.

“I wrote to notify them that I have resigned my membership of the APC, from February 21, 2023. The action was due to series of conflicts happening at all stages of the party in the state”,  he added.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, the serving law maker also announced his joining the opposition Party, the PDP.

He made the announcement before  the PDP executives at the residence of the party’s governorship candidate, Mustapha Sule Lamido.

“I took the decision following a wider consultation I made with my constituents on the plan to quit the ruling  APC.

“I am here because I want to help my friend, because we attended the same university. I am here to help the party win the 2023 election”, he said.

Also, the Special Adviser to Governor Badaru Abubakar on Afforestation, Honorable Bala Sule Kila has dumped the ruling APC.

Abubakar said he decamped to the opposition Party, (PDP) due to personal reason and interest.
