The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has finally announced a former governor of Borno state, Senator Kashim Shetima as his running mate in the 2023 general elections.
SINL Nigeria Online gathered that Tinubu made the announcement on Sunday in Daura, the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina State.
Indeed, he briefed reporters about the choice at the end of a close-door meeting that lasted about an hour with Buhari at the President’s residence.
A source said Shettima was selected because of his competence.
