The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari has said he neither has interest or any idea on who will succeed him after he might have left office in 2023
Masari spoke during an interview with The Nation in Katsina.
He added that his desire for the state is to have a better Governor than him come 2023.
He said: ’’First of all, I have no idea who will succeed me and secondly my wish for Katsina state is to have a better governor than myself and the one that will come after him to be better than him’’
‘’ I was part of the National Assembly and have no intention of going back to National Assembly or the Senate. Like I said earlier, I will be 73 God willing and in the business of politics, I am out.”
‘’Even in Civil Service, you retire, so I have no intention to contest for any office, what I will do and everyone is aware of how I started and the positions I have held and have no godfather and no intention of contesting anyway’’.
