The National Secretary of the Labour Party, Comrade Umar Faruk Ibrahim has said for credibility and transparency, Nigerians should vote for Peter Obi in 2023 general election.
Addressing the party’s supporters on Wednesday, at the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) state Secretariat in Dutse, Jigawa state capital, he warned Nigerians not to repeat similar mistake they made in 2015.
He said it is quite regrettable that presently, Nigerians are being taken hostages by bandits on daily basis without the concern by the All Progressive Congress (APC) led government.
He further explained that Nigeria as a nation has never had it so bad as it is today.
According to him, Peter Obi is the right person to be given all the support needed to enable to win the 2023 general election, in order to re-fix the components of the country once more.
“Peter Obi is ready to transform Nigeria through various means, especially the vast land in the north will be used for agricultural revolution”.
He added that the Labour Party is an international affairs. “We have membership in about 57 countries in the world and Labour Party is governing three countries”.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim unveiled the Jigawa state Gubernatorial candidate of the party, Alhaji Abdullahi Tsoho Garba to the teeming supporters of the party.
