Residents of Dutse woke-up on Monday to see posters of Kogi state governor, Mr Yahaya Bello in most part of the Jigawa state capital.
The posters, with inscription Yahaya Bello for president, ‘for a generational change’ among others saw residents discussing in groups about the development.
Several of the posters were displayed at various roundabouts in the state capital, while some were removed by workers of the State Environmental Agency.
The posters are coming barely weeks after the Jigawa state governor Alhaji Muhammed Badaru Abubakar warned members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of wrong doings.
Governor Yahaya Bello, who is an APC member from Kogi state is believed to have the backing of many youths coalition groups.
When contacted the state chairman of APC, Alhaji Muhammed Umar Dikuma said it is not for him to determine who becomes an aspirant of the party’s presidential ticket, adding that “what is before us now is to commence the registration of our members”.
