2023: YCSCD holds Special Prayer for peaceful Election in Jigawa

A group, Youth and Civil Society Coalition for Development (YCSCD) in Jigawa state has organized Special Prayer Sessions in the three senatorial zones of the state, for peaceful conduct of the 2023 general elections.


Speaking to our correspondent in Dutse, the Chief Convener of the Special Prayer Session, Comrade Aminu Aminu explained that the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming 2023 elections is crucial to the survival, unity and progress of the Nigeria.

He added that it is a civic responsibility upon every Nigerians to support the country’s democratic system and also wish it well, so that it can prosper and yield dividends of democracy.

 
Comrade Aminu noted that, hundreds of Ulamas from various ‘Tsangaya’  Qur’anic schools were engaged in reciting the Holy Quran to seek the Almighty God’s support and intervention for the peaceful conduct of the 2023 elections.
