(SINL NIGERIA) The aspiration of the Osun state governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for second term in office in 2026 has received a boost from Osun Central senatorial district.
Indeed, Senator representing Osun Central zone at the 10th Senate, Senator Fadeyi Ajagunla made this known in an interview with SINL Nigeria Online in Abuja.
This comes as the lawmaker applauded Governor Adeleke for approving the dualization of Ila Orangun township road.
Senator Ajagunla said “I thank the governor for approving the dualization of Ila Orangun township road, which he will soon do the flag off”.
“Osun Central will deliver all the local governments in the zone for him in 2026”.
He recalled that he received 250 decampees in Ila Orangun into the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), adding that “PDP in Osun is stronger than at the federal level”.
“In 2026, we are solidly behind governor Adeleke” he said.
He explained that governor Adeleke is Mr. Project, stressing that he has touched all the local governments in the state.
When asked about his Stewardship at the parliament, the Osun Central Senator noted that within eighteen months in office he has executed over one hundred projects across the Senatorial Zone.
He gave statistics of the projects “within 18 months, I have done 100 projects across the ten (10), local government areas.
“The Osogbo, Ikirun and Inisa three kilometers road project will be commissioned this December.
“I have given eighteen (18), transformers to eighteen different communities across my Senatorial district to lighten up the district.
“I have also provided twenty thousand (20,000), solar lights across the ten local governments.
“I sponsored six (6) youths to China to learn CNG, ICT and mechanized agriculture and they are back to the country now.”
“You can fact check it, I have sunk eighteen boreholes across my Senatorial district.
“As of today I have done 4 kilometers road in each local government, meaning I have done 40 Kilometers across the ten local government areas of Osun Central.
“I donated three Peugeot 406 to police in the three federal constituencies of Osun Central Senatorial district to strengthen security in area.
“I also gave fifty thousand Naira (N50,000), each to 110 young police recruits from my district, who are currently in training in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
“Over one thousand, five hundred residents of Osun Central, received N50,000, Presidential Nano grant.
The lawmaker added “I rehabilitated courts in Ila Orangun, Okuku and Ikirun”.
