The Minister of State for Defence, Hon. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, on Tuesday played host to his political ally and brother, the Senator representing Zamfara West and former Governor of Zamfara State, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Personal Assistant on media to the minister, Ahmad Dan Wudil and made available to newsmen in Gusau, Zamfara State capital.
The statement noted that the meeting took place on Tuesday in the Minister’s office at Ship House, Abuja.
It also added that the meeting lasted for over an hour and centered on issues of security, development, and a shared commitment to repositioning Zamfara State for greater development.
