Market Inferno: APC Governors Storm Zamfara, donate N50m to Victims

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governors on Monday visited Zamfara state to commiserate with victims of Tudun Wada market Inferno.


The governors donated N50million to the victims of the fire incidence that destroyed unquantifiable worth of goods.


The entourage, lead by kebbi state Governor, Senator Atiku Bagudu said they were in the state to sympathize with the Goverment and people of the state over the inferno which destroyed part of the market.


Bagudu was accompanied by Governor of Yobe state Mai mala Buni, National Chairman caretaker committee of the All progressive Congress and Jigawa state Governor Alhaji Abubakar Badaru said they were deeply touched with the incident.


“We came to show you our sympathy over the recent fire incidence at Tudun Wada central market, this was a sad incidence, the progressive Governors therefore donated the sum of N50million to the victims, we prayed to God to protect the state from future occurrence”.

Continuing, Bagudu said the visit was to show the commitment of brotherhood to the people and Goverment of zamfara state.

In his remarks, Governor Bello Mattawale applauded the APC Governors for the sympathy visit, saying it was timely and commendable.


He lamented that this was lacking from his colleagues from the other party.


“This visit is commendable and appreciative, you are all my brothers, this is what my brothers have not done to me” Matawalle said.
