President Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Rev. Stephen Baba Panya has said there is need for President Buhari to reshuffle his cabinet.

Rev. Panya disclosed this on Saturday at the end of the 68th General Church Council (GCC) meeting of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), held at the ECWA headquarters in Jos, Plateau State.

“We urge the federal government to expeditiously set in motion necessary mechanisms for the full implementation of the resolutions of the 2014 national conference so as to save the country from the precipice towards which it is precariously heading”.

He also insisted that president Muhammadu Buhari must sack the minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami, if he refuse to resign based on alleged support for terrorists groups within and outside the country.

“Where he fails to resign voluntarily, we will expect President Buhari to relieve him of his ministerial position and that will rekindle the hope of Nigerians in the President Buhari administration”.

The Council observed the serious allegations levelled against the current Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Dr. Isa Pantami.

“We join other well meaning Nigerians and corporate citizens like Human Rights Writers Association (HURIWA), Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and other civil society organizations (CSOs) to demand for the resignation of Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami as a member of the Federal Executive Council.

“We hereby counsel President Buhari that he still has two years within which to redeem his name and Nigeria by addressing alleged injustices of his regime”.
