Why I left APGA for APC -Shinkafi

A former National secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi has revealed why he left APGA 19 years after, for All Progressives Congress(APC).


He commended Governor Matawalle’s development plans.

He added that his defection to APC is for the betterment of his people from the grass roots.

Shinkafi spoke on Monday in Gusau, while  addressing his teeming supporters.


He noted that he has nothing against any body from his former party (APGA) both at National, State, local government and ward levels. 

The former APGA governorship candidate in Zamfara State revealed that it’s high time for him to pay more attention and contribute more to the development of his State.

According to him, it should not be a surprise for his defection to APC and home coming to assist for more development of Zamfara state.

“I want to assure my teeming supporters from National to the ward levels, that I left APGA for APC to contribute more to the development of my home State, local government and  grassroots level”.

He maintained that his 19 years struggle in APGA was for the betterment of people, “my interest first was my constituency, my hometown where my late mother and my late father were buried”.

“I want to tell you that whever I die within or outside the country I want to be bury in my hometown shinkafi “. 

The former APGA National scribe added he defected to APC with all state exco, local government and ward level executives in the state.
