The former Minister of Aviation and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode has
called on Nigerians to stand against foreign elements that are bent on destabilizing the country and killing innocent citizens.
According to Fani Kayode, some people are using Northwest as a killing field to tell the World Nigeria is ungovernable and divided.
The former Aviation Minister spoke on Monday while condoling with Zamfara State Government over killing of 58 innocent citizens recently in Anka and Bukkuyum local Government Areas by suspected terrorists.
Fani- Kayode urged Nigerians irrespective of their ethnicity, religious or political affiliations to come together to fight foreigners who pretend to be Nigerians but killing innocent people in the North and South.
He called on people of the South to be more sensitive against the attacks and killings of innocent citizens in the NorthWest, especially in Zamfara State.
He described the killings in Zamfara as a tragedy of monumental proportion just like the killings in any part of Nigeria.
Fani- Kayode applauded the efforts of Governor Bello Matawalle in the ongoing fight against the terrorists, pointing out that without which the security challenges would have been worse than the current situation.
He called on the Federal Government to arrest sponsors of the terrorist activities and those individuals who inflated the figures that one thousand persons were killed in the recent attacks by Suspected terrorists in Anka and Bukkuyum local Government Areas of the State.
