The senator representing Kogi central, Senator Oseni Yakubu has assured his constituents that he will be personally involve in the maintenance of multi billion naira projects recently commissioned at the district.
The empowerment projects is spread across five local government areas of Kogi central.
Yakubu, who is the chairman senate committtee on ICT gave the assurance on Tuesday while briefing newsmen on the various Infrastructure provided for the people of Kogi central senatorial zone.
The projects, which were executed from 2019 to date include 27 boreholes, renovation of some schools, Ultramodern CBT centre among others, according to the lawmaker gulped billions of naira.
Speaking on how to enhance maintenance of the projects, Senator Yakubu expressed optimism that “I am going to be personally involve to sustain the facility”.
“As a son of a peasant farmer, I have vowed that Children of the less privilege in our society shall not lack” he said.
He however lauded the Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan who commissioned the projects.
The Senator also spoke on his bills and legislative activities at the Senate, he was emphatic, “I always carefully select any bill I lay my hand”.
