Ramadan: Yari distributes 172 trucks of grains to IDP’s, Orphans, Supporters in Zamfara

A former governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari has distributed 172 trucks of assorted grains to internally Displaced persons, Orphans and supporters ahead of Ramadan in the state.

At the flag-off of the distribution Thursday in Gusau, Yari explained that 16-member committee was constituted to ensure hitch free exercise.

He said less privileged people, IDP’s and his teeming supporters are to benefit from the gesture across the 14 local government in the state.

He said that a total of 172 trucks of assorted grains were procured and will be distributed to people as part of the gesture to ease Ramadan fasting in the state.

Yari, who was represented by senator Kabiru Garba Marafa said trucks of assorted grains that includes rice, maize, sugar and millets would be distributed to beneficiaries in the state.

According to him, a total of 105 trucks of grains would be distributed to teeming supporters, while 47 trucks would be distributed to IDP’s across the state.

“A total of 172 trucks of assorted  grains that includes rice 50 trucks, sugar 22 trucks, millet 50 trucks and maize 50 trucks were procured by former Governor Yari for distribution to people as part of Ramadan welfare package”.

Senator Marafa maintained that their supporters  in the state are United and would continue to remain United.
