The presidency has announced the death of Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mallam Abba Kyari.
A statement signed by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina said the deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19, and had been receiving treatment. “But he died on Friday April 17, 2020”.
According to the presidency, funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
