The Zamfara state commissioner for religious affairs, Dr Muhammed Tukur sani Jangebe has resigned his appointment as member of the state executive Council.
Though no reason was given for the sudden resignation, Jangebe is also the chief imam of a jummuat mosque, Muslim foundation, he tendered his letter of resignation few days after he concluded end of Ramadan Tafsir which he chaired in the mosque.
In a letter personally signed and addressed to the executive Governor of the state, Jangebe thanked Governor Bello Mohammed Mattawale for given him the opportunity to serve the state.
According to him, the gesture done to him since the inception of the present administration of Governor Matawalle would continue to be remember by his humble self and his entire family.
“His Excellency may wish to note that at this juncture, I Dr. Muhammad Tukur Sani Jangebe hereby tender my voluntary resignation of appointment as honourable commissioner ministry for religious affairs from 1st May, 2022”.
He further appreciated the opportunity accorded to him as commissioner and member state executive Council and assured to continue to pray for the success of the present administration in the state.
