PDP Governorship candidate in Jigawa seeks support of Royal fathers

Ahead of the 2023 general election, gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa state, Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido has embarked on visit to traditional rulers in the state.

Lamido is seeking the blessing of the monarchs in the forthcoming 2023 elections.


Indeed in Hadejia, at the Palace of the State Chairman, Council of Chiefs, Dr Adamu Abubakar Maje, Mustapha Lamido solicited for his fatherly blessing and prayers for his success at the poll.

Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido, who is the Santurakin Dutse, thanked God the unity Jigawa state.


He said if elected the Governor of the state, PDP leadership would remain loyal, obedient and supportive of the traditional institution.

The Emir while responding advised Mustapha Lamido and other party candidates to be submissive to Almighty God.


The Emir also urged citizens of the state to obtain their permanent voter’s card and prayed for peaceful conduct of the 2023 General elections.
