Jigawa state Governor, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has appointed his Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Alhaji Auwal Danladi Sankara as Commissioner for Special Duties.
Sankara’s appointment was confirmed on Tuesday by the state House of Assembly.
The Speaker of the House, Honourable Idris Garba Kareka described Sankara as a seasoned administrator with years of experience.
He said the confirmation followed receipt of a letter of his nomination from the state Governor, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar last week.
However, members of the house, unanimously said with his vast experience and hardwork, he should take a bow and go.
Sankara promised to serve diligently and lauded governor Badaru for finding worthy of the appointment.
