2023: Tijjaniyya group organises peace prayer, urges youths to shun money politics

An Islamic sect,Tijjaniyya Youth has organised a special prayer for peace of the country and called on youths to shun politics of money come 2023 general election. 

This was disclosed on Sunday during a national conference organised by the group as its enlightenment initiatives held in Gusau, Zamfara State capital, with the theme “politics perspective from Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse”.

In their separate remarks, leaders of Tijjaniyya Youths urged Muslim youths to shun any act capable of tarnishing their religion and avoid politics for money. 

Guests speakers, Dr Nura Atiku Zawiyya, Dr Muhammad Nazifi Bichi and Mallam Mansur Makaranta both reminded youths of the examplenary leadership exhibited by Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse during his lifetime. 

According to them, late Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse has preached religious tolerance, saying politics should not be a yardstick of separating one from his religion and his parents.

“Youth should avoid politics of money, they should be obedient and respect  leaders”.

Dr Zawiyya stated that Youth between the age of 20-40 years should be able to differentiate right and wrong.

“Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse has left an examplenary life to Muslim faithfuls world wide” he said.

Earlier, the Secretary of Tijjaniyya Youth enlightenment initiatives, Zamfara State branch, Jawadu Abubakar Sadauki said the Conference would feature a national prayer for peace in the state and country at large. 

Those at the occasion included Saiyada Rahamatullahi, Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse, National secretary Tijjaniyya Youth, Sheikh Tasiu, Dr Atiku Balarabe Zawiyya, Director General, Idris Garba Rikiji and Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi among others.
