2023: Zamfara NSCDC deploys 2,154 personnel across 14 LGAS

The Zamfara state command of the Nigerian security and civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 2,154 personnel across the 14 local government areas in the state for the 2023 general elections.

Speaking in Gusau on Friday, the state NSCDC Commandant Mohammed Bello Muazu through the public relations officer, Ikor Oche SC said the command would not compromise on Electoral law.

According to him, NSCDC is ready for the 2023 general elections and would strongly deal with whoever violate Electoral act in the state. 

“We’ll not use NSCDC volunteers during this  elections, personnel are therefore warned not to compromise with politicians”.

He urged the officers of the command to demonstrate high level of maturity, use rules of engagement and abide by laws.

“All hands must be on deck, to make sure we perform credibly well during and after the forthcoming elections”.
