Following controversy over alleged missing intestines, the Lagos State Governor, Bababjide Sanwo-Olu, has assured the parents and concerned citizens over the case of a 12-year-old boy, Adebola Akin-Bright’s at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Ikeja.
Recall, the management of LASUTH, denied culpability in the alleged disappearance of the intestines of the boy, Adebola Akin-Bright, who was treated by the hospital.
Further recall, mother of the patient, Abiodun Deborah, cried out to the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to probe the mysterious disappearance of her son’s intestines after undergoing corrective surgery for intestinal obstruction in July this year.
Sanwo-Olu, gave the assurance on Sunday, when he visited the victim with the parents in attendance at LASUTH, Ikeja.
The governor announced that the state government would take over all the expenses for the operation to ensure the boy’s life was saved.
