Zamfara State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Tasi’u Musa Shinkafi, has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to uplifting youth lives through skills acquisition programs and sports activities.
Shinkafi made this declaration on Monday while leading senior ministry staff, including the Permanent Secretary, Directors, and Heads of Sports Council, in defending the 2025 ministry budget proposal before the Zamfara State House of Assembly Committee on Appropriation, chaired by Rilwanu Nagambo Marafa.
He highlighted key projects captured in the budget proposal, including the construction of a sports complex, a Leadership and Citizenship Center in Kwatarkoshi, and the rehabilitation of skills acquisition training centers. These initiatives aim to generate revenue and promote self-reliance among youths.
Shinkafi commended Governor Dauda Lawal’s efforts to rescue the state from its challenges.
He also applauded the Zamfara State House of Assembly Committee on Appropriation and the entire state house membership for prioritizing the well-being of the populace.
