Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has formally resigned from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor made this known on Tuesday after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
It would be recalled that on Friday last week, the Screening Committee of the APC led by Professor Jonathan Ayuba submitted its report to the party’s leadership after it screened Governor Obaseki and others.
The committee however gave it’s verdict, saying he is not qualify to contest the APC Primary election.
