The Ag Clerk to the National Assembly, Arc. Ojo Amos Olatunde has congratulated the former Clerk to the National Assembly, Prince Oluyemi Ogunyomi, the Asiwaju of Ilajeland on his 70th birthday.

The Ag Clerk said “Through your thoughtful leadership, great vision and sincerity, your memories will for ever remain green, in our hearts, as our democracy has become better, because of your skill as one of the few experts in legislative matters, during your fruitful and imaginative tenure. Asiwaju brought his uncommon pragmatic, inspirational dimension and wealth of experience to stunning reality, as a man of matchless courage and determination”.

Arc.Ojo in a congratulatory message personally signed by him described the former Clerk as a  bureaucrat per excellence and a fantastic role model for all who seek to make impact positively in the National Assembly’s bureaucracy; adding that Prince Ogunyomi laid a solid foundation through a revolutionary leadership in just ten months as the Clerk  to the National Assembly.

“Prince Ogunyomi is a senior citizen and brother that I admire and respect profusely. He remains a trail blazer with intimidating legislative credentials; a detribalized Nigerian worthy of emulation with sound track records of capacity building and resourcefulness, that must be sustained to enhance democratic growth and advancement.

“As a most dynamic leader to the world of yesterday, today and the future, we pray God Almighty to grace you with many more years filled with sound health, so we can continue to explore your wealth of wisdom and uncommon leadership quality” the statement concluded.
