A boat conveying electoral materials and some ad-hoc staffs of the Independent National Electoral Commission to Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State has capsized in transit.
SINL Nigeria Online reports that Ilaje local council is a riverine area of the state.
Meanwhile it was further gathered that there were no casualties in the incident as the men of the Nigeria Navy rescued all the victims and the election materials.
Ondo state is located in southwestern Nigeria.
