A former gubernatorial aspirant of All Progress Congress (APC) in Zamfara Aminu Sani Jaji has denied knowledge  of any case involving him and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) which led to the marking of his residence in Gusau, the state capital on Friday.

The Governorship aspirant, also a former member of the House of Representative who spoke on phone with SINL Nigeria Online correspondent said nobody invited or intimated him either at EFCC or anywhere regarding any case.

“It has become as a surprise to me to wake up and see my personal residence allegedly marked under investigation by the EFCC”.

According to him nothing is impossible, “but to the best of my knowledge, I don’t have a case with anybody and even if someone wrote a petition against me, I should be invited for questioning but I doubt if this action is from EFCC” Jaji said.

He called on his teeming supporters to remain calm and law abiding, saying the matter is under investigation by the appropriate authority.

He appreciated friends, political associates and well-wishers for their concern, adding that the issue will be traced and addressed very soon.
