Former Governor of Zamfara state, Abdul Aziz Yari has revalidated his APC membership at his Talata-Mafara town, saying the party will reclaim its mandate in 2023.
Yari who spoke with newsmen on Saturday shortly after he registered said “We will reclaim our stolen mandate from the ruling PDP in the state”.
According to him, since 1999 to date, PDP has never won in Zamfara state, lamenting that what happened in 2020 was as a result of misunderstanding among APC members, adding that the internal crisis has been settled.
He commended the officials of the the exercise under the leadership of Alhaji Kareti Lawal, who were sent to supervise the exercise from the national headquarters of the party in Abuja.
He however urged party supporters to come out enmasse and register for them to be bonafide members of the party.
