Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state has described the kidnap of over 300 female students of Jangebe Goverment girls secondary School in Zamfara state, as inhuman, saying enemies of the country are unrelenting.
Governor Tambuwal who visited zamfara to sympathise with Governor Matawalle, victims families and people of the state, was in company of Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammed Saad Abubakar lll.
The duo expressed shock over the abduction of female students in Jangebe in Talata-Mafara local government area of Zamfara in the early hours of Friday.
Tambuwal who drove into the government house, Gusau to commiserate with his Zamfara counterpart described the act as dastardly, pathetic and an abuse to human dignity.
He said the people of Sokoto state and indeed all other parts of the country share in the grief, noting that the people carrying out these unfortunate acts should be ashamed of themselves.
Also speaking, Sultan Muhammed Saad Abubakar who was on his way from the Northern Governors Security meeting in Kaduna along with his Governor prayed God to make all criminals better citizens in the country also urged them to always have the fear God in their ways of life.
Responding, Governor Bello Matawalle thanked them for their concern over the sad incident in the state.
Matawalle noted that the visit was a further demonstration that both Governors and traditional rulers were working to find a lasting peace in all parts of the country
