AGN unveils 2-week Masterclass for movies practitioners in Abuja

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has unveiled a Two-week Masterclass in Abuja, which is designed to empower Nigerians and re-train movie practitioners on technical and entrepreneurship skills embedded in the movie industry.

AGN Mayor, Abuja Chapter, Mercy Salma Aminu who made the unveiling at a Press Conference recently, described the intensive training as a transformative opportunity for every aspiring actors in Nigeria.

She explained that the masterclass is an investment in Nigeria’s creative future, noting that the entertainment industry is a powerful engine of economic growth, capable of generating revenue, creating jobs, and showcasing the culture on the world stage.

Salma Amina added that Nigeria is a land of immense talent and creativity, stressing that  stories are vibrant, the culture is rich, and the people are filled with passion but yet, despite all the potential, many of the talented actors have not had the opportunities or resources to truly shine on the global stage.

“The masterclass is important and more than just a series of workshops, it is a pathway to empowerment, a bridge to success, and a chance to turn dreams into reality”, noting that the program is meticulously crafted to elevate Nigerian talent to new heights.

The program which she said will delve into the intricacies of character development, master on-camera techniques, and refine the audition skills,  added that beyond these technical skills lies something even more valuable—confidence, empowerment, and the believe of achieving greatness.

The Mayor enjoined all Nigerians especially the youth to key into the training and for the well-meaning Nigerians to lend supports in sponsorship for the training. “By supporting this initiative, you’re not just sponsoring a program, empowering the next generation of Nigerian stars who will uplift our nation and drive the creative industry forward.
