Ambassador Aduda made this known recently in Abuja during a courtesy visit by the Union executives and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by their chairman, Ali Seidu.

The visit was in appreciation of Ambassador Aduda’s impactful role during his tenure as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from December 2020 to October 2022.

Ambassador Aduda emphasized the pivotal role of the civil service as the engine of government, highlighting its responsibility in ensuring effective service delivery to Nigerians.

He noted that the civil service is crucial in actualizing the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Administration.

He however urged civil servants to always give their best in their service to humanity, stating, “Always put in your best at every opportunity you are given to serve. You may never have a second chance to make a first impression, so always put your best foot forward. Work as unto God and never relent in supporting your subordinates and superiors.”

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to capacity development for workers, aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and service delivery in the public sector in line with global standards.

Earlier, Comrade Ali Seidu expressed their gratitude to Ambassador Aduda for his contributions to staff career progression and capacity building during his tenure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
