Chief Silva Ameh hails Buhari, congratulates Echono, new TETFUND Boss

Chief Dr Silva E. Ameh, (FNA), the Ojebok’Idoma, Chairman, Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Ohodo, Enugu State has lauded Arc. Sunny Echono the new Executive Secretary Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).


Ameh, in a statement congratulated Arc. Ohodo on his appointment as the new TETFUND boss.


Indeed, the chairman of the governing council of the fed. Poly. Ohodo, applauded President Muhammadu BUHARI for finding Echono worthy of the appointment.

“On behalf of myself, members of the Goveming Council and the Principal Officers of the Federal Polytechnic, Ohodo, Enugu, I most respectfully applaud the President and Commander-in-Chief, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, for the magnanimous appointment of Arc. Sunny Echono, FNIA, as the Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND)” Ameh said. 

The statement read in part “for the appointment to come almost immediately after your recent meritorious retirement from the Federal Civil Service, is certainly in recognition of your enduring legacy and contributions to the development of the Nigerian Public Service Sector. 

“Indeed it is a manifestation of Mr. President’s trust and confidence in you. 


“The Federal Polytechnic, Ohodo, Enugu State, gladly joins a multitude of peace loving Nigerians to congratulate you on this well-deserved appointment. 

“To those of us who are witnesses to your steady strides as an astute professional and accomplished technocrat per excellence, serving loyally and excellently from your humble beginning and through key Federal Ministries, it is our firm belief that your cognate experiences will be firmly brought to bear on your new herculean assignment. 

“It is our fervent belief that this appointment will afford you the opportunity to promote Mr. President’s deliberate policy of providing the teeming youth of this country unfettered access to Technical Education, to drive the industrialization of the Nation”.
