The Department of State Services (DSS) has released former chairman of Economic And Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) from detention.
A statement on Wednesday night by Peter Afunanya, Director Public Relations and Strategic Communication confirmed the release of Bawa from captivity.
Recall, Bawa was arrested by the secret police on June 14, 2023, sequel to an invite over undisclosed reasons. Bawa same day visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the presidential villa.
