The management of the Federal University Dutse (FUD), Jigawa state has said it is making frantic effort to conduct researches aimed at tackling the incessant menace of Malaria and Kidney diseases that are so rampant in the Hadejia zone.
Addressing newsmen on Thursday at the Senate building of the Institution, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammad said researches are being conducted by the University to know the level of prevalence of such diseases.
The Vice Chancellor who spoke on the forthcoming 6th and 7th convocation ceremony of the Institution on Saturday this Week, said soon reasons for these problems will be discovered by experts from University.
Recall, many people are being affected by Kidney disease in Hadejia zone.
Similarly, there are high cases of Malaria parasite infection among the citizens of the state.
The VC said there were 1058 graduates in the 2019/2020 Academic session, in which 38 obtained First Class, 321 second class upper division, while 564 graduated with second class lower division while 135 obtained third class.
He said in 2020/2021 Academic session the grand total of the graduands were 1814, saying 36 obtained first class, 515 second class upper division and 946 second class lower division as well as 317 with third class.
