EFCC declares Hushpuppi wanted

Nigeria anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared instagram celebrity, Ramoni Igbalode, popularly known as Hushppuppi, wanted over series of suspected cybercrimes.

Recall, Hushpuppi was arrested on June 10 in United Arab Emirates in connection with $35million ventilator scam.

EFCC made this known on its verified Twitter page on Thursday, The NATION reported.

EFCC tweeted: “Nigerian most wanted hacker “Ramoni Igbalode alias Hushpuppy recently investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the International Police has considerable cybercrimes being investigated by the EFCC.

“The commission is familiar with grisly details of money laundering cyber transactions involving many high profile cyber criminals facing trials in Nigeria”.
