The Nigerian Senate has postponed resumption date of its plenary.
Recall, the senate is currently on Easter and Sallah break.
The upper legislative chamber had earlier slated its resumption for Tuesday, April 16, 2024, but has now been shifted to Tuesday, April 23, 2024, a statement signed by Clerk of the Senate, Chinedu Francis Akubueze said.
It however noted that the postponment was due to unforeseen circumstances.
The statement which read in part said, “Distinguished Senators are hereby invited to note that the resumption of the plenary sitting of the Senate, which was scheduled for Tuesday, 16th April 2024, has been postponed to Tuesday 23rd April 2024″.
