An expert in the field of disaster and conflict management, Dr Bassey Ita Etim-Ikang says he has a lasting solution to security challenges bedeviling Nigeria.
Indeed, Etim-Ikang noted that there is ray of hope and light at the end of the tunnel.
This is contained in his new book entitled “Planner’s Perspective on Disaster and Conflict: Issues of Forced Displacement of Persons Management in Nigeria”.
The book is billed for launch on 20th April, 2021 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Conference Hall (Rotunda) Ahmadu Bello Way, Eagle Square, Abuja.
Speaking at the pre-launch interview with newsmen in Abuja, Dr. Etim-Ikang described the book as a master-piece.
According to him, the book draws inspiration from the complexities of multi-dimensional insecurity, ethnic violence, wars, insurgency and communal clashes.
He noted that the book emerged as a result of extensive research, based on empirical records, consultations with relevant stakeholders among others.
