Fayemi, Masari, Badaru, others inspect tallest Nigerian flag in Jigawa

Nigerian governors converge on Birnin kudu to inspect tallest flag ever hoisted in the country, making it the second tallest in Aftica.

Four state governors visited Jigawa state to inspect the errected flag at the Malam Alu integrated agro-allied company limited situated in Birnin Kudu local government in Jigawa state.


The tallest flag with 50.3m length, is first of its kind in the country and was inspected by the chairman Nigerian governor’s forum,  Kayode Fayemi, Jigawa state governor Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Badaru, Katsina state governor Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari and Kwara state governor Alhaji Abdurrahman Abdulrazak.


While the Kano state deputy governor, Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the Speaker of Gombe state House of Assembly and the Senate Deputy minority leader, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha were also in attendance.

Speaking after the inspection, the chairman Nigeria governors forum Dr. Kayode Fayemi described the chairman of Malam Alu farm, Alhaji Farouk Adamu Aliyu as a patriotic Nigerian whose passion and patriotism is unprecedented.

Also speaking, the Katsina state governor, Aminu Bello Masari commended the chairman of the farm for investing heavily in his home state and town instead of Abuja or Lagos were he is likely to make better financial gains.

Malam Alu Farm is owned by the All Progress Congress (APC) leader in Jigawa state, Honourable Faruk Adamu Aliyu Birninkudu. The farm is said to be one of the best modern farms in the country.

While making his remarks, the Chairman of the Integrated  Agro-Allied Company, Honourable Faruk Adamu Aliyu said he was encouraged into the business to answer the clarion call made by President Mohammadu Buhari that Nigerians should go back to farm.

He said, the farm has within it a fertilizer blending plant, green house tomatoes  farm that produces 15 tons per week, an ongoing poultry farm that will produce 120,000 layers, a grand fish pond among others.

“I was encouraged by governor Badaru to go into the fertilizer blending production, where the plant is presently producing several tonnes per hour” he added.
