Fed. Lawmaker’s Empowerment Initiative Targets 3,290 Women in Zamfara State

A federal lawmaker in the House of Representatives, representing Bungudu/ Maru Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulmalik  Zubairu has flagged off distributed empowerment items to 3,290 women in his Constituency.

He explained that he established the program to assist the government in its poverty alleviation drive.

Addressing  supporters of the All Progressive Congress in Bungudu, the federal lawmaker said that the leaders of the party in the State are grassroots politicians, saying that  they are always with the locals.

“The minister of State, Defense, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle and senator Abdulaziz Yari, being the leaders of the party in the State are mindful of the welfare of their members”, he added.

He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items and become self reliant.

The occasion was graced by the Minister of State, Defense, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle who was represented by his former deputy, senator Hassa Muhammad Nasiha, Senator Abdulaziz Yari who was also represented.
