The popular Singer market in Fagge area of Kano State on Tuesday was gutted by fire.
According to Guardian report a combined team of state and federal fire services are working to prevent the fire from spreading into nearby buildings.
Hundreds of traders and store owners are busy evaluating their goods close to the place of the incident.
The spokesman of Kano Fire Service Saminu Yusuf was not available to comment on the incident at the time of filing this report.
