The governor of Katsina state, Aminu Bello Masari has relieved the appointment of a commissioner and three Senior officials in the state civil service with immediate effect.
According to a statement on Monday signed by Muntari Lawal, Secretary to the Government of the state gave the names of the sacked officials as Tasiu Dahiru Dandagoro, Commissioner of works, housing and transport, Yusuf Barmo, Chairman, Katsina state pilgrims welfare board, Fatima Ahmed, Permanent Secretary, Sustainable Development Goals and Aminu Waziri, Permanent Secretary, ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The statement said the sack is in the move to make some strategic re-alignment and adjustment, as directed by governor of Katsina, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari.
It further noted that all the affected political/public office holders are directed to handover all government properties in their possession to their respective permanent secretaries or the most senior directors as the case may be.
